Bart Kerswell - Coventry and West Midlands Wedding Photographer

About Me

Hello i’m Bart, a Relaxed and Captivating Wedding Photography in Coventry

I’m a passionate photographer based in the West Midlands, specialising in contemporary documentary and reportage-style photography. I take great pride in capturing natural moments as they unfold, whether at an event, a special occasion, or a day in everyday life. Understanding that being in front of a camera can sometimes feel daunting, I feel the same way myself! I strive to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, ensuring my subjects feel at ease.

Photography has always been more than just a profession for me, it’s a passion that I’m fortunate enough to turn into a career. I hope this love for storytelling through imagery is reflected in my work. If you like my style and want to connect, feel free to reach out. I’d love to hear from you!

Family Life

Behind every great passion is a support system, and I’m incredibly lucky to have mine. My family has played a huge role in my journey as a photographer. From giving me their honest opinions, to helping me refine my craft. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me navigating the busy world of after-school clubs with my two children. It’s a challenge, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Capturing the moments that matter

Your wedding day is a whirlwind of love, joy, and emotion—and my job is to preserve it all. I work tirelessly to capture not just how your day looked, but how it felt. From the big, emotional moments to the little details you might miss in the excitement, I’ll be there to document your story authentically. You can trust that I’ve got your back, ensuring your gallery is filled with real, heartfelt memories—full of energy, happiness, and love.

Natural and
Unobtrusive style

As a documentary-style photographer, I take a quiet, observational approach for most of the day, allowing moments to unfold naturally. About 90% of the time, I’ll blend into the background, capturing your day without interruption. There will be a few moments where I step in, like for group photos and portraits but I firmly believe that your wedding is about you, not me. That’s why I don’t stick to one rigid style; instead, I focus on reflecting your story, your love and your day.

And don’t worry – I won’t pull you away from the party for endless posed shots. We’ll capture those special moments, ideally during golden hour, but for the rest of the time, I will blend in like a guest rather than stand out like a supplier, making sure your memories are authentic and effortless
